Barb Pleasants

My background is in behavioral ecology and vertebrate biology and my research focused on several species of North American orioles.  My current responsibilities are in teaching and service.  Courses I teach include Comparative Anatomy, Human Biology, Ethical Eating and The Holocaust. I have been involved in designing several electronic supplements for various courses and frequently work with students on their projects for the Biological and Premedical Illustration major.  All of these students take Comparative Anatomy and many of their projects have provided illustrations for use in lab.
