- BEST Peer Mentor
I am a junior from Minneapolis, MN and Nigeria, on the Pre-Health and Medical track. My career goals are to go medical school after completing my undergraduate degree. I wanted to become a peer mentor because of the help that I received when I was first-year student. Based on my experiences with my former peer mentors, I have emulated that into the way I interact with students to make sure I am understanding, patient, and always looking for a way to help them get to their goals. At Iowa State, I am president of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Student Council, member of STEM Scholars and Premed Club, and also a research assistant for Dr. James Lang’s lab.
New students can ask me about joining student organizations, research, tutoring/study habits/class schedules, and anything premed related.
