This seminar course will address the cut-to-edge progress of cancer genomics at an introductory level. It will cover topics such as (1) an overview of cancer somatic mutations and databases; (2) identification of cancer-driving genes and cancer-driving (amino acid) sites; (3) mutational signatures of cancers and mutational heterogeneity of; (4) effects of RNA genes in cancers. Students will attend lectures, and participate in class discussions.
